Nakuru - Members of the Nakuru County Assembly have said that the Sarah Serem Commission is not coming out clear over their payment.
According to one ward representative who spoke to the media on Monday on condition of anonymity, the MCAs are not ready to resume work until the SRC reviews their salaries.
The member of County assembly pointed out that the Sarah Serem Commission had requested for three months to look into the issue of their salaries but nothing has so far happened.
He added that the Nakuru County assembly members are more than ready to go back to work as long as the commission addresses their plight.
“The commission had requested to be given three months to address our issue but now thy have gone silence over it so we wonder what's next,” he said.
He further noted that many of the projects at the ward level were on hold since there was no money to propel the County government activities.
