Nakuru - Nakuru police boss Bernard Kioko has assured Nakuru residents of security during this festive season.
The OCPD said that his police officers have been patrolling the town day and night to fight any cases of insecurity that might arise.
“The public needs to know that we have enough security in place during this festive season and that is why they don’t have to fear about anything,” he said.
Speaking in Nakuru on Wednesday, the OCPD said the law will not be compassionate to anyone who will be found breaking it.
He also urged the Nakuru residents to be responsible when making merry saying festive season does not give permission to anyone to cause mayhem.
“We have arrested some people who were found breaking the law and this will surely continue the entire festive season,” he said.
Kioko said that he has traffic police officers monitoring all cars coming in and out of the town as one way of curbing insecurity.
He also said that all the road users must adhere to the traffic rules during this festive season.
