Nairobi - Regional retailer, Nakumatt Holdings has added yet another feather to its cap with the launch of a fully-fledged cosmetics division.

In its Sub-Sahara entry, REVLON, the global colour cosmetics, hair care and fragrance Products Company, will enjoy Nakumatt’s commitment to invest more than US$ 1 million to support the brand’s local market entry and development.

Speaking during the launch of the first Cosmetics’ Division outlet at Nakumatt Westgate, Nakumatt Holdings Group Lifestyle Category Manager Sonali Shah disclosed that similar in store Cosmetic Bars with more International brands will be progressively unveiled across the retailer’s Branches in coming months.

Nakumatt's shoppers will enjoy a variety of brands and services ranging from foundation matching to their skin colour, education on make-up application techniques, skincare, nail treatments, fragrance among others.

Scott Maddock, the Managing Director of REVLON said: “For decades, REVLON has inspired women around the world and we are now absolutely delighted to be introducing our much-loved brands to Kenya as well! As the leading colour cosmetics brand in Africa, it is a privilege to be partnering in this exciting venture with retail giant, Nakumatt – a chain that pride themselves in their passion for excellence.”

The REVLON South Africa Commercial Development Director Valda Noble, while welcoming Nakumatt’s entry, confirmed that the global cosmetics firm will provide technical training to guarantee a superior experience for their local customers.
