Kibue, whose official position is the Nairobi Police County Commander has been replaced by Japheth Koome.
Godfrey Kibicho takes over from Njoroge Ndirangu as Nairobi county commissioner.
Interior Cabinet Secretary Joseph Nkaissery whilst announcing the changes Wednesday, also moved Mandera county commissioner Alex Nkoyo to Kiambu county, and replaced him with William Kiprono.
Job Boronjo is Mandera's new police boss.
Nelson Marwa has been retained as the Mombasa County Commissioner.
" The changes are routine and will take effect on an immediate basis," he stated.
