Nairobi - NARC Kenya Secretary General Mwanyengela Ngali has died.
Ngali died Thursday at a Nairobi hospital where he had been admitted last week. Details of what exactly killed him were scanty.
NARC Kenya chairlady Martha Karua was shocked by the turn of events.
" I mourn death of Narc Kenya's Secretary General Ambassador Mwanyengela
Ngali. He was a valued colleague and unparalleled patriot! Condolences to his family," she said.
Ngali was key to Karua's run for the Presidency in the 2013 General Elections. He was also well liked within political circles because of his diplomatic style of leadership.
" We join the NARC-Kenya family in mourning the death of their SG Amb. Ngali. To Party Leader Martha Karua, pole sana for the loss. May he RIP," Orange Democratic Movement ODM said of the passing.
Karua has been in the process of trying to draw a political return as the 2017 General Elections get closer and closer and the loss will be a big blow to her plans.
