Nairobi – Kwale County MP, Zainab Chidzuga has asked nominated MP, Isaac Mwaura to help police with information to trace his Personal Assistant, Anthony Kang’ethe who is at large after impregnating a 14-year-old girl with albinism.
Chidzuka said Kang’ethe had written a statement at Diani Police Station concerning defilement incident but escaped and the police efforts to trace his whereabouts have been futile.
“The incident is shocking and I have tried to reach Hon. Mwaura but his phone is always off and I have tried to meet him in Parliament but still it has been impossible. He might be aware of the incident because it happened in April,” said Chidzuga.
The Kwale County MP added that the PA’s friend, Josephat Muzungu who works as a caretaker in an orphanage, also defiled a 16-year-old-girl with albinism but was arrested after medical examination report indicated that he was responsible.

Chidzuga said the girls are both in primary school and reside in her orphanage. They had been invited to a conference for persons with albinism at Diani Forest Lounge where Hon. Mwaura was the guest of honor.
She said Kang’ethe and Muzungu took advantage of the conference to coax and defile the girls.
“The young girls are going through psychological problems from that encounter and I appeal to well wishers to offer them the needed support because they also require proper counseling,” said Chidzuga.
Chidzuga provided the media with a moving and remorseful hand-written letter by the 16-year-old girl narrating how Muzungu coaxed her until he committed the heinous act.
Mwaura was nominated by ODM party to represent persons with disabilities including those with albinism.
