Nakuru - The National Authority for Campaign against Alcohol and Drug Abuse (NACADA) chairman, John Mututho wants President Kenyatta to fire senior politicians within government who are engaging in drug trafficking.
Mututho said that some known people in government are using their influence and power to engage in drug trafficking without any fear.
Speaking Sunday in Naivasha town, Mututho said it will be only fair for President Kenyatta to name and shame those drug traffickers just as he did with the corrupt officials in government.

“There are senior people in government who are well known and they are using their presence and support for the government as a shield of engaging in drug trafficking and the President should name and fire them,” said Mututho.
He added, “Recently, NACADA gave a list of the drug traffickers to the government and we hope action will be taken against them,” he said.
Mututho said that a lot of politicians are engaging in drug trafficking using proxies, saying that it will be hard to win the war against drug trafficking and abuse without political will.
