Must watch: Hapa Kule news

16 August 2014, 13:35 Eugene Odanga

Nairobi - Hapa Kule news is pretty much one of the fastest rising TV shows in the country right now, alongside the likes of Tujuane. It has gained popularity mainly because of the fact that they deliver news like everyone else, but in a slightly more comical angle.

They seek out the top trending topics regardless of in what sphere they are in and make you have a good laugh at them.

This time they were out after Sauti Sol, after the musical group released a new track called “Sura Yako”, which has pretty much become the hottest topic among the Kenyan youth. The track has been the most played single on air across Kenya, if not the greater East Africa.

The team have done a remake of the song titled “Muthuriwa Bar”, which will undoubtedly leave you in stitches after you watch it. The remake basically features a couple of drunkards, who on being ejected from their local bar for drinking too much, break into song praising the bar owner (Muthuriwa Bar) and his alcohol, pleading with him not to send them away.

Though it is quite funny, it also touches on the issues of alcoholism and domestic violence, which affect the youth in the country heavily. Check it out here: http://youtu.be/xkpVP0-BH2Q?list=PL7hT-7lXQOrx6U-l5ZCj3FWyokjZHyMFI
