Nairobi - There will be more prayers for Deputy President William Ruto in the coming weeks, members of the Jubilee Coalition have announced.
The coalition's MPs from Central Kenya have announced that the prayers will be held in Ruiru, September 19.
Senate Majority Leader Kithure Kindiki says that they are fully behind the plans for Ruto's prayers taking place.
" We will have the prayers in Ruiru to support the DP," he told News24 Monday.
Ruto had similar prayers held for him over the past weekend in Kuresoi in the Rift Valley where over 100 legislators attended.
The prayers are to try seek divine help and offer moral support for Ruto, who has been embroiled in his Crimes Against Humanity Case at the ICC.
