Mombasa County bans sex at public facility

Mombasa - Mombasa County deputy governor, Hezel Katana, has banned the use of condoms at Mombasa County Stadium.
Katana was speaking over the weekend during an inspection tour of the stadium as shocking reports emerged that idlers have been using the stadium as a brothel.
Katana stunned the workers at the renovation site when he said, "Kuanzia leo sitaki kuona mtu yeyote anabeba mipira ya kondomu hapa au magodoro hapa stadium. (From today henceforth, I don’t want to see anybody carrying condoms or mattresses to the stadium)."
The tough talking deputy governor was flanked by he Mombasa County Sports minister, Hazel Koitaba, who reiterated that the stadium will strictly be used for the purpose it was built.
Information indicates that during the three years of stadium neglect, idlers had camped at the stadium and used it to engage in short time sex.
Mombasa County Stadium, which is under renovation, is set to co-host the CECAFA tournament scheduled to be held from November 27 to December 12 , 2013.
