A military constable from the Kenya Air Force alleged to have defiled a 17 year-old girl was charged at a Nanyuki court yesterday.
Stanley Kiprotich Meli appeared before chief magistrate Jessie Nyagah where he faced a count of defilement and another of committing an indecent act with a child.
Mr. Kiprotich was charged that on diverse dates between May 23 and August 27 this year at Thingithu Estate in Laikipia County, defiled and committed an indecent act with the said complainant.
He pleaded not guilty of the two charges and was released on a bond of Ksh 50,000 with one surety of similar amount or a cash bail of Ksh 20,000.
The case will be heard on November 14 and mentioned October 19.
