Nairobi - A boy who sneaked into State House to meet President Uhuru Kenyatta has been released by a Nairobi Court without charge.
The 15 year-old boy who was charged with trespassing and entering State House illegally has been released on a two year conditional discharge.
Nairobi Chief Magistrate Daniel Ogembo ordered the boy not to involve himself in any criminal activities in the next two years to avoid facing hard time.
The boy’s father was also ordered to take proper parental responsibility of his child or risk punishment.
The boy tried to enter into State House to seek audience with the President to help him record his song, saying that he had no funds to help him do so.
He has since been offered the chance to do so by NACADA Director Jaguar, who says that he can do so at his Nairobi studio.
