Nairobi - A man who climbed the wall at State House to send a message to President Uhuru Kenyatta has been charged with terrorism.
Mathew Kinuthia Mwangi has been charged with terrorism for allegedly trying to scale the wall at State House as he tried to seek audience with the President.
He claims that he was just looking for the president to support his music video.
He was arrested by security staff last week Friday and handed over to the Anti Terrorism Unit who have now sought eight days to investigate whether he was a terrorist threat.
Kinuthia denied charges that he was a trouble maker and called on the court to release him.
Magistrate Edda Agade said that the offence was serious and needed thorough investigation to ascertain Kinuthia's real intentions.
