Nakuru - Police in Rongai constituency have launched a manhunt for a 29-year-old man who set his father ablaze following a disagreement over money.
Joshua Kiptoo allegedly poured petrol on his father and set him on fire in Moricho village after he allegedly refused to share part of the money he made after selling his two cows.
confirming the incident, Rongai police boss Joseph Mwamburi said the man decided to punish his father after he refused to give him his share of the proceeds.
“The two had a quarrel after the father sold two cows. The son wanted some share but his dad refused to give out anything. That is why he resorted to torching him,” said Mwamburi.
