According to police reports, Leruk’s brother who by good luck was passing by heard screams emanating from the bush, whereupon he rushed to check what was happening only to find his own brother defiling his 30-year-old wife. Confirming the incident Tuesday afternoon, Nakuru police boss Bernard Kioko said that the husband and wife were rushed to the nearby health center by relatives before later being transferred to the Rift Valley Provincial General Hospital in Nakuru.

“The man is reported to have raped his brother’s wife and at the same time hacked and injured his brother on the forehead before he took off and up to now he is still at large. Police are looking for him and we are sure we will catch up with him,” said Kioko.

"They are in stable condition and are continuing with treatment at the PGH,” he added.
