Man in court for swindling boss KES.100,000

Nyeri - A man who allegedly swindled his boss goods worth more than KES.100,000 in Nyeri was Thursday arraigned in court.
Appearing before Chief Magistrate Wilbroadah Juma, the suspect Moses Wafula Khaemba was charged with stealing three solar panels, two solar batteries, a water pump, a 13 kilogram gas cylinder, a speaker and amplifier all valued at KES.115,000.
The items were properties of John Kimani who was his employer.

He allegedly committed the offence on September 22, this year at Gatei village together with others who were not before the court.
The accused faced an alternative charge of being in possession of the said stolen property which was found in his custody while boarding a matatu in Nyeri town.
However, he denied both charges and was released on a KES.10,000 bond with a surety of the same amount.
