Naivasha - A 60-year-old man was Thursday morning lynched at Kasarani Estate in Naivasha after he went on rampage slashing three men including his brother in unclear circumstances.
The three were admitted at the Naivasha sub-county hospital in critical condition.
The father of two men allegedly went on a drinking spree after selling his day's catch, threatening to kill someone.
According to a witness, John Ochido, the man sharpened a machete and headed to the streets where he started attacking people without any provocation.

Ochido said that the attack caught many by surprise forcing residents to flee and shops closed as police were called in.
“The man attacked members of the public indiscriminately, seriously injuring three innocent men who were left nursing head and hands injuries,” he said.
The trader said that incensed area residents ganged up and cornered the drunk suspect, beating him to death as efforts were made to rush the injured to hospital.
Naivasha OCPD, Charles Kortok, confirmed the incident saying that the motive of the attack was not clear.
He also noted that the three victims were in stable the condition and were responding well to treatment.
“Investigations are going on,” he said.
Meanwhile, administration police (AP) officers have arrested a wanted drug peddler in the sprawling Karagtita Estate in Naivasha.
During the operation, the officers managed to recover over 100 kgs of bhang from the suspects’ house.
Naivasha AP Boss, Robert Maingi, confirmed the incident saying that the suspect had been on the run for some months.
“We have in the last one month arrested around four suspects selling bhang to youths around Naivasha and the operation will continue,” he said.
