Nyeri - A Family Bank employee was Thursday freed on KES 100 000 bond by a Nyeri court after he pleaded not guilty to theft charges.
Allan Ndungu Wambui denied that on diverse dates between August 26 and October 4, jointly with others not before the court, stole KES 71,410 from Family Bank Nyeri branch.
He appeared before Resident Magistrate John Aringo who scheduled the case to proceed on October 31 with a mention on October 23.
The court however ordered the prosecution to supply him with copies of charge sheet, witness statements and copies of any documentary exhibits that the prosecution would rely on during the proceedings.
