Nyeri - Police officers in Kieni East sub-county are holding a man who allegedly killed his colleague by beheading him over KES 6 000.
The deceased, 27-year-old Sammy Muriithi, was working as a farmhand at Kabaru location near Kabaru forest.
Area deputy County Commissioner, Daniel Ondambu, said the deceased had just been paid a salary of KES 6 000 by his employer.
Ondambu said when Muriithi's colleague saw him receiving the money at an entertainment joint in Kabaru shopping centre, he secretly followed him to his house at the farm where he committed the crime.
