Nyeri - Othaya MP, Mary Wambui has asked her colleagues whose names have been adversely mentioned over corruption malpractices to resign from their respective house committees in order to pave way for investigations.
While reacting to recent revelations that some MPs in Parliamentary Accounts Committee had received bribes to influence the committee’s reports in various cases, Wambui said that those implicated had lowered the dignity of the House and ought not continue serving in the parliamentary committee.
