Nakuru - Nakuru east member of parliament, David Gikaria wants President Uhuru Kenyatta to replace all ministers and senior government officials who stepped aside after being named in the EACC corruption report.
Gikaria said that for Kenyatta to keep his legacy in the fight against corruption, he must replace all the ministers who stepped aside regardless of whether they get cleared or not.
Speaking Tuesday in Nakuru town, Gikaria said that the named ministers and officers have tainted the image of the Jubilee government and should not be allowed to come back to government.
"Once someone has been associated with corruption, his/her name becomes tainted and therefore the President should not even wait for them to be cleared. He should immediately replace the ministers and senior officers who stepped aside," said Gikaria.

He added: "If he allows them to come back to the government, his integrity and legacy will be compromised."
Gikaria said that President Kenyatta should act hard on his close associates who have been associated with corruption saying that it will make him a darling to Kenyans.
"If the President acts hard on his friends who are corrupt, Kenyans will live to celebrate him. He needs to stop being soft on his corrupt friends," he observed.
