Nairobi - A member of parliament wants President Uhuru Kenyatta to reign over Gatundu south Member of Parliament Moses Kuria over his persistent incitement and hate speech comments.
Kuresoi MP Zakayo Churuiyot said that it is only President Kenyatta who can tame the rather ‘rude’ Kuria who he said has a lethal tongue that can plunge the country into chaos.
Speaking Sunday during a church service at the Kuresoi south AIC church, Cheruiyot said that the recent remarks made by Kuria during former Kabete MP’s burial can easily cause animosity and hatred between tow Kenyan tribes.
“I listened to what was being said at Hon. Muchai’s burial and I just shook my head. It was a big shame for elected elders to go accusing someone of a serious crime like murder without having any tangible evidence. Kuria’s behavior has become unbearable and because he is a close associate of the president, then the president must ask him to tame his mouth because one day he will sent this nation to the dogs,’ said Cheruiyot.
He added “Kuria is now beyond the cohesion commission or even the director or public prosecutions, he feels untouchable and he can say whatever he pleases not considering the repercussions”.
Cheruiyot called on Kuria to respect other Kenyan tribes just as he would want other tribes tor respects his own tribe.
