MP wants Moses Kuria to resign over ICC fixing confessions

Nairobi -Kuresoi south MP, Zakayo Cheruiyot wants his Gatundu south counterpart, Moses Kuria to resign after he openly confessed to have procured fake witnesses against deputy president William Ruto.
Cheruiyot said the confessions being made by Kuria and subsequent apologies are not enough and so he should quit public office.
Cheruiyot said that Kuria is not fit to hold any public office following his confessions.
Speaking Thursday in Nakuru town, Cheruiyot said that Kuria should publicly offer an apology to the Kalenjin community for fixing their brothers at The Hague.

“The best he can do is relinquish his post as an MP and offer a public apology to the Kalenjin community,’’ said Cheruiyot.
He added: “One wonders why he had to wait for all that time to make his confessions; we suspect this is a strategy aimed at hoodwinking the Kalenjin nation in 2017 but we are alert.”
He called on deputy president William Ruto to tread carefully inside the Jubilee coalition because his own enemies are within the coalition.
“The DP should tread very carefully and trust no one in Jubilee because the people who wanted to see him in jail are with him in the government,” he cautioned.
