Nakuru - A nominated female MCA undressed inside the Nakuru County Assembly on Tuesday as the house went into chaos after MCAs started exchanging blows over a motion that had been tabled to unseat the deputy speaker, Samuel Tanui.
Emma Mbugua, who represents persons with disabilities in the assembly undressed to keep off male MCAs who wanted to attack female MCAs during the fracas.
It took the intervention of fellow female MCAs to plead with Mbugua to put on her clothes before she was escorted out of the house under tight security.
Speaking outside the house, Mbugua said she could not sit and watch as her female colleagues were attacked by their male counterparts saying she had to do that to shame the devil in the male MCAs.
