MCA mourn demise of one of their own

Mombasa - The Mombasa county deputy chair of the Agriculture, Livestock and Fisheries Committee, Saada Rajab died on Thursday morning after a long battle with cancer.
Mombasa county Governor, Hassan Ali Joho has led other leaders in the mourning of the late legislator.
Joho described her as a caring mother and progressive legislator who was always determined and willing to participate in development matters of the county.
“It is with profound sadness and deepest sympathy that we mourn the death of Hon. Saada Rajab. Today Mombasa has lost a caring mother and a progressive legislator,” read a statement from the Mombasa County Governor Hassan Joho.
She was among the MCAs who pushed for the impeachment of County Finance Executive member, Halid Walid last week.
Saada was a nominated member of the Mombasa County Assembly which is currently on recess until August 5.
