Love classical music? You should not miss this

Nairobi - For all the lovers of classical music out there, this is one event to attend.
The event titled Classics at the Godown features some of the best performers of classical music in the form of The Conservatoire Symphony Orchestra, conducted by Lovi Wataka. Some of the performances include excerpts from Hayden’s Surprise Symphony, Overture to William Tell and Liberty Bells among others.
Performances begin at 3 Pm on Sunday July 20, 2014 and tickets are going for KES 300.
Other events of note this weekend include the Black Coffee event organized by Kenya Nights and Electrafrique on Saturday. The Dj who hails from South Africa comes for what would be his first event in the country and which according to the critics is definitely going to be one to attend. According to the organisers“Prepare yourselves for the biggest dance music bash in Nairobi this year.
Hailing from the Eastern Cape, Black Coffee has come a long way with his sound. The multi award-winning DJ and Record Producer has been honing his skills for a good 20 years and has four sensational albums to prove his worth on the scene. The man knows no boundaries, as he not only performs on the decks, but with a full orchestra too on occasion.
Some of the supporting acts for this show will be B-DJ, DJ Cortega, Andrea, The Beat Parade Band, Jack Rooster, Sesi, Sean Fraser, Francesco Bisleti, L.A. Dave, DJ Norah and French Connection. Tickets are going for KES 2000 (Advance) and KES 3000 (Gate) and will be held at the Carnivore Simba Saloon.
