Nairobi - Mainswitch records is the birthplace of what could be
considered the new age of Kenyan music, with artists like Jaguar making massive
strides in their music after joining them. They seem to always be a step ahead
of their competition with their music and releases, evident through their last
two releases, which have left the country in awe and amazement.
release of September was in the form of Injili by Papa Dennis, which was released about a week
The song has had over 30,000 views on YouTube, partly
because it is genuinely an excellent gospel track and it is a fusion of Lingala
and Kapuka, but also because of its awe inspiring video, which was shot in what
I can only assume is South Africa. The video quality is outstanding to say the
least, and features quite a number of super cars, one of which had a number
plate written Injili.

Mainswitch records have also released a new video by Irakoze
Hope called Kemea Usingizi, which has also gained quite a
bit of traction among the Kenyan fans. The two tracks are different in every
way but their quality, which is outstanding.
