Life at standstill as Kenya waits for next president
06 March 2013, 14:35
Though it may appear heartbreaking and backward, tension has built up all over the country due to the delay experienced announcing the March 4th elections winner.
Speaking of transport, fares have hiked as the election break ends.
People need to relocate to their business places and go on with life, embracing the new president.
However, nobody wants to risk their vehicles in as much as peace has been channeled down their ears.
Whether it is a plan of Isaac Hassan and company to ease tension and elude any skirmishes, Kenyans are growing impatient with the delay notwithstanding the constitutional provision of seven days legal delay.
Everyone is crossing fingers that the delay be not intentional.
For those who think they can run the country on their own, this is not the time to call IEBC names.
Before you think there is foul play, check and make sure you did not spoil your vote.
