Kuria will testify for Ruto at ICC

Nairobi - Gatundu South MP Moses Kuria will testify at the Hague in defense of Deputy President William Ruto, he has said.
Kuria said Monday that the move would help release pressure on Ruto's defense team and help him show the world that the matter before the court has been doctored in-order to have him charged.
" I will testify at the ICC without a doubt," Kuria said Monday.
" I have said previously that I know the truth of the matter and I am not afraid to come out and tell the world, so I will testify when the time comes," he added.
The move is likely to help Ruto's team as it seeks to discredit witness statements in his crimes against humanity trial.
Kuria is also set to meet up with officials from the ICC Friday to explain his comments about fixing witnesses to testify in the trial.
Kuria said he and Martha Karua who was the then Justice Minister collaborated to send fake witnesses to the trial to kill Ruto.
