Nyeri - Gatundu South MP, Moses Kuria wants Kakamega Senator, Bonny Khalwale prosecuted over alleged hate speech remarks and posts on social media.
“If National Cohesion and Integration Commission (NCIC) officers are fair, they should process prosecution of Khalwale. They have been very busy monitoring me and my posts on Facebook and Twitter,” Kuria said.
Khalwale is said to have made hate speech remarks during the burial of Raila Odinga’s son, Fidel Odinga, in Siaya early this month.
However, Kuria said he would feel discriminated if the authourities fail to take any action against the outspoken Senator.

Kuria has an impending case in court where he is alleged to have spread hatred against some communities through his social media accounts.
He was however echoed by Gichugu MP, Njogu Barua who added that the Inspector General of police should arrest Khalwale and other opposition leaders for insulting the President.
“The opposition MPs should respect the Presidency. No way you can insult the President and go scot free. IG should act on this. They have been chasing Moses Kuria on everything he says and it is time they proof they were not taming politicians of one coalition,” said Barua.
The MPs were speaking in Karatina town, Nyeri County.
