Kuria promises CORD tough battle in parliament

Nairobi - Gatundu South MP Moses Kuria has promised the CORD coalition a tough time in parliament, following his election win.
Kuria was on Thursday officially declared MP by the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commision IEBC after succesfully navigating the election via a technicality.
He was declared winner after all aspirants for the position decided to call it quits.
And on receipt of his election victory certificate Thursday, Kuria promised to hand a hard time to the opposition CORD coalition.
" I am happy and proud to be the MP for Gatundu South and I thank my people for their support during this time, he said.
He also took time to reflect on the aspirants who stood aside to allow him get a clear run at the seat.
" I thank those that allowed me a clear run at the seat. I promise to work with them to develop Gatundu South.
And on his plans in parliament, he promised to give the CORD coalition a hard time.
" I will do my best to help the Jubilee coalition achieve its goals and mission. I will also work hard to put all those against the government in their place, he said.
Kuria was a well known Jubilee supporter prior to his election, with his comments in defence of the government and against the opposition causing controversy.
He has been accused of hate speech on a number of occasions and even had his Facebook account cancelled over the same claims.
