Nairobi - Gatundu South MP Moses Kuria has labelled Jubilee Alliance Party JAP loss in the Kajiado Central by election disgraceful.
The party lost the recent by election to the Orange Democratic Movement ODM Monday, a loss that Kuria has described as one he would like to quickly forget.
He also termed the manner in which the party handled the elections as unsatisfactory.
" We were not properly organized in the elections and that is why we lost," he said of the election.
" It was not a good occurrence and we are not happy but it is a lesson for other elections in future," he added.
The newly elected Kajiado Central MP-elect Memusi Kanchori won the Monday poll after
trouncing his rival Patrick Tutui of the Jubilee Alliance Party JAP
with 16,008 votes to 15,508.

the nomination process that saw Tutui declared winner and Kuria alluded to the fact that in future things will be done better.
" There were mistakes made in this process but the party is young and lessons will be learnt," he added.

from JAP," Narok based political sciences lecturer Unai Ntororo told
" It all started in the primaries and their calculation as
to who was the better candidate. They should have known that Memusi was
the more popular one."
" Then the campaigns were not well
handled. CORD leaders were all there and Raila spent over 10 days in
total in Kajiado Central. They wanted it more and even the voters felt
" The support Memusi received from Orange House was nothing short of phenomenal and they deserved the win," he added.
MPs admit that there were problems with the elections but insist that
the party, which has been received with mixed reviews will eventually
