Webuye - New Ford Kenya Bungoma Senatorial set candidate Musikari Kombo is confident he will beat his rivals to the tape in the December 19 elections.
Kombo will square up with Ford Kenya and CORD candidate Moses Wetang'ula as well as Wakoli Bifwoli of the Labour party and independent candidate and political analyst and David Makali in the poll.
According to Kombo, he has enough wits about him to win the poll and promises change in the county if elected.
" I'm confident in victory. The people of Bungoma are with me and they will make the right choice, he said in Kapsokwony.
Kombo accused his rivals of failing to have a development agenda and argued that he is the right man for the job since he has deleivered in his previous years in government.
" I will prove to the people that good things can be done in this area with the right man on the job and that is person is me.
" The rest have not shown any progress in their previous positions and they have been in government for a long time, so why elect them? he posed.
Kombo's bid to run for office has been supported by current Bungoma Governor Ken Lusaka.
