Nakuru - Former secretary to the Cabinet, Francis Kimemia now claims that he was offered as a sacrificial lamb in the jubilee government’s fight against corruption.
Kimemia, who was forced to step down and later sacked over corruption allegations, said he was simply a soft target for the redemption of the image of Jubilee government.
Speaking Sunday at a fundraiser in Nakuru town, Kimemia said his calmness worked against him, costing him his job.

“... the President wanted to be seen as a serious fighter of corruption by firing one or two senior officials and Kimemia had to be one of them,” he lamented.
He added that he was proud of the work he did for Kenya for the many years he served in the public service sector.
“Being sacked from government will never worry me because I know I did my best to serve my country and that makes me proud. The anti-corruption commission cleared me of any wrong doing and that makes me even happier,” he said.
He blamed senior politicians in the Jubilee administration and officers at state house for engineering his sacking.
