Kimathi students lamenting for justice

14 June 2012, 16:57Alfred Onyango

Justice delayed is justice denied. Kimathi University students are now crying for the delayed justice after there student was murdered in cold blood last month and to date it is not clear whether the murderer has been brought to book.

Just two months before the murder two students were robbed their properties among them laptop which was hardly two weeks old. And still again the perpetrators have not been brought to record. They still free move amongst us as we helplessly watch.

During the campaign for membership of student congress security topped the list. Everyone was lamenting for the injustices the students have faced but hardly are the offenders taken to court considering that Nyeri court is just five kilometers away.

The new elected congress under chairmanship of Peter Kabutu have now vowed to seek justice for the students and asking for clear explanation of circumstance under which their student was killed.
