Police confirm 91 Somali deportations

Nairobi - Police have confirmed that 91 Somali's have been deported, added to the 82 that were deported by the government last week.
The 91 are part of a group of 225 that have been earmarked by the government for deportation in the ongoing war on terror.
They were deported at approximately 12.10 PM Thursday afternoon.
According to sources, the rest will also follow in due course over the next couple of days.
Inspector General of Police David Kimaiyo, speaking during the announcement of the 225 arrests and planned deportations, said that the ongoing war on terror will continue and that those found to be in the country illegally will be deported.
" We will continue with the operation until we rid the country of these elements, he said.
82 other Somali's were deported last week in a swoop that followed the terror attacks in Eastleigh and subsequent police action.
