Nairobi - Tanzania President Jakaya Kikwete will address the National Assembly next week during a State visit to the country.
Kikwete will address MPs as well as Senators Tuesday after President Uhuru Kenyatta requested both speakers to make time for a speech from him.
" We have been asked to prepare for a speech and I urge all members to make time," Speaker Justin Muturi told MPs.
His Senate counterpart Ekwe Ethuro did the same.
Kikwete will be in the country next week for a three day tour as he prepares to leave office with elections just around the corner back home.
Tanzanian elections take place 25 October.
