Kidero welcomes Sonko Rescue Team closure

Nairobi - Nairobi Governor Evans Kidero has welcomed the closure of the Sonko Rescue Team.
The Rescue Team was disbanded by Sonko Tuesday, stating that he would like to instead work with Kidero in improving the fortunes of the Capital City.
The two leaders have been at loggerheads previously over the running of the team but in its closure, Kidero has sad that he is looking forward to working with Sonko.
" We are elected leaders to help improve the city and we will do so together," he said in Nairobi Wednesday.
Kidero last week visited Sonko a his home after the death of his father Gideon an pledged that Nairobi was behind he and his family.
" The city is firmly behind you and will do its best to help during this time of mourning," Kidero said last week.
Kidero had in the past accused the team of transporting drugs and had been taken to court in a defamation order by the Senator.
