Nairobi - Nairobi Governor has been ordered to apologize for calling Law Society of Kenya and lawyer Apollo Mboya a 'stupid boy'.
Kidero allegedly called Mboya so in an video doing the rounds on social media, describing Mboya as 'stupid' and lacking in respect.
Mboya said Tuesday that unless Kidero apologized in three days and on a public forum, he would be forced to sue him for defamation.
" He has caused me mental anguish, damage to my reputation and trauma over the utterances," Mboya said.
Kidero could not be found when contacted by News24 as he was said to be out of town.
Kidero has been threatened with court action on several occasions in recent times, with Senator Mike Mbuvi Sonko also taking him to court for calling his Sonko Rescue team a drug trafficking cartel.
The alleged insult came as a result of Mboya forgiving political analyst Mutahi Ngunyi over his utterances towards members of the Luo community of which Kidero is a part of.
" According to you, I am a stupid boy because I forgave Mutahi Ngunyi for the unfortunate utterances directed at me and to your community," he stated in his statement.
