Kidero heads for 3 day Qatar visit

Nairobi - Nairobi Governor Evans Kidero will leave the country Sunday evening for a three day visit to Qatar.
Kidero will leave for Doha Qatar where he is set to learn about new ways to improve efficiency in the capital city. He will also meet a number of strategists to seek ways of building Nairobi as a world renowned hub.
According to a statement from County Hall Sunday, Kidero will discuss issues regarding democracy, development and free trade in the Middle East.
" I am eager to work with the international community to drive progress towards a comprehensive and operational Nairobi County. This forum will provide the perfect platform for these engagements, he said.
" I have planned bilateral discussions and multilateral consultations meetings with key leaderships," he added.
Kidero will participate in meetings to build a way of dealing with political, economic, social, financial, strategic and human matters.
Kidero has been in the midst of pushing several initiatives seeking to improve the status and living conditions of the city's residents, with initiatives to reduce traffic flow, improve sanitation and security already underway.
