Nairobi - Nairobi Governor Evans Kidero has been forced to walk from town to Westlands in the face of too much traffic, something he has vowed to work on.
Kidero, who was headed to the Villa Rosa Kempinski to attend the AFWA International Water Conference in which he was an attendee and key note speaker, vowed to do his best to deal with the traffic situation in the city.
He said that the perennial traffic problems in Nairobi cost taxpayers billions of shillings and must be solved.
He added that his plan to erase 5 major roundabouts in the city centre and is sure that it will ease up to 40% of traffic in the city.
The roundabouts to be removed from the city will be the University Way, Kenyatta Avenue, Haile Selassie, Bunyala and Nyayo Stadium roundabout.
The plan is set to kick off in April.
