Nairobi - Nairobi Governor Evans Kidero has banned food hawking in the city following the death of 4 people in a cholera outbreak.
The Governor announced Thursday that anyone found hawking food would be arrested after four people died and several others were taken to hospital over the outbreak.
" Food hawking has been banned from now henceforth within the CBD until the outbreak subsides," he added.
The ban comes a few weeks after four people died in Nakuru after consuming street-side food, also blamed on cholera.
