Nairobi - There
is thought to be very little to share between politics and music, but Kibra MP
Ken Okoth is out to prove this wrong.
This became apparent after he was pictured at the Grandpa Records studio in Nairobi recording a track.
The picture was posted by Grandpa Records CEO Refigah earlier this morning, where he did not hide his delight at securing a big personality in his office.
“Kibra MP Ken Okoth will drop his single and he is doing so at Grandpa Records, he bragged.
Grandpa records has been at the forefront of the music
industry in Kenya the past few years, producing some of the most played tracks in East
Africa and beyond.
They boast artists like DNA, Kenrazy and Ameleena, and are
now about to add one more in the form of a Member of Parliament. They are
currently preparing to release the remix of Pizo Dizo’s famed track
“Chali Stinji”. The release date has not been confirmed yet, but will keep you
posted as events unfold.
