Kibaki better than Uhuru, says Atwoli

Meru - The Central Organization of Trade Unions (COTU) Secretary General Francis Atwoli has lauded former president Mwai Kibaki’s leadership saying in his regime all Kenyans were treated equally unlike in the current government.
He was speaking during Auki Mixed Day school in Igembe South of Meru County fund drive where he claimed that the government is creating a bridge between Kenyan communities by sidelining others in the government appointments.
He said Kibaki's development tracks and top job appointments were equally distributed even to the regions that never voted for him.
“Uhuru and Ruto are just not measuring up to their predecessor’s work. They are only considering some communities in job appointments and leaving others out," Atwoli said.

He asked President Kenyatta to lead Kenya as one entity and not a nation of a few tribes who voted for him in last year's General Elections.
He illustrated this claims by criticizing appointment of Labor Secretary Kazungu Kambi saying he is not ideal for the post.
“How can the government appoint someone who does not even know how to read time but only placed there to fight the workers by trying to kill their rights," he posed.
He said his link with National Social Security Fund mismanagement and the general running of its property was malicious plot by the government just to undermine him and the union.
