Keter released on bail

Nairobi - Nandi Hills MP Alfred Keter and his counterpart Sonia Birdi have been released on bail after the mention of their case in which they are accused of causing disturbance at a weigh bridge.
The two appeared in person before a Naivasha court Wednesday where they were charged with causing disturbance at a public facility.
They were released on a cash bail of KES 150,000 or a bond of KES 300,000.
The two were caught on Camera earlier in the year, insulting Gilgil weighbridge officers in trying to have a lorry released illegally.
The lorry belonged to Mrs Birdi's family.
The two had tried in vain to have the cases dropped, having accused the Ethics and Anti Corruption Commision EACC of falsely accusing them of fraud and seeking to spoil their names.
Their case will be heard June 19, 2015.
