Keter has no regrets for impeaching Waiguru

Nairobi - Charles Keter is a wanted man by the Jubilee coalition as he pushes forward a motion that will see Devolution CS Anne Waiguru impeached but he has no regrets.
Keter has already filed in a list of signatures to help push through a motion to impeach Waiguru, who he believes must step aside from office to answer to several allegations of fraud in her ministry.
The move though is seen as a sort of betrayal of his Jubilee background which naturally must support a Cabinet Secretary as they are essentially in government.
Keter though, does not see it that way and says that he is just doing Kenyans a service he owes them.
" There is no witch-hunt here as some are saying. We are seeking justice and fairness. Other CS's resigned when the were faced with corruption allegations. I believe that the treatment should be equal," he told News24.
He also stated that there was nothing to fear from the Jubilee coalition as he was seeking the truth.
" There is nothing to be unhappy about. I am not afraid of anyone. I am just seeking the truth and that is what matters," he added.
Waiguru is under pressure over the loss of funds at the National Youth Service NYS, which is under her docket.
It is estimated that more than KES 826 million has been lost during her tenure.
Previously, other CS' were forced to step aside from office and be investigated but Waiguru has yet to, as she has claimed that she is innocent of whatever charges leveled against her.
