Kenya's Wyre nominated for world music awards

Nairobi - Jose Chameleon, Radio and Weasel and Wyre have been
nominated for the world music awards which are set to happen from September –
December in Miami (To be confirmed).
The awards honour recording artists based on
their global sales figures provided by the International Federation of the
Phonographic Industry. The three have been selected in multiple categories
Africa’s World Best Male Artiste (Wyre, Chameleon and Radio and Weasel)
Africa’s World Best Live Act (Wyre, Chameleon and Radio and Weasel)
Africa’s World Best Entertainer Of The Year (Wyre and Chameleon)
Other African artists nominated for the awards include the likes of
Wizkid, D’Banj, Ice Prince, and P-square to name a few.
Wyre was chuffed about the nomination.
" Its a great feeling to be nominated for a top award like this one and I'm very proud of the achievement, he said.
