Nairobi - Kenyans have wasted as much as KES 52 million in bribes as they seek to have their children enrolled for the Kenya Defence Forces KDF.
With the new KDF recruitment scheme taking off this week, the KDF leadership has come out to ask Kenyans not to fall prey to fraudsters again.
Vice Chief of Defence Forces Lieutenant General Joseph Kasaon
says during the same period, KDF sacked 54 servicemen as a
measure to curb the menace.
" We sacked 54 and arrested 108 civilians who were handed over to the
police for prosecution," he said Monday.
The KDF recruitment takes place for the next one month in 247 centres.
