Kenyan gospel artist feeds the poor in Kansas
22 May 2014, 18:01
Nairobi - Billy Frank, best known for his tunes “Nasonga Mbele” and
“Kama sio Wewe” featuring Mercy Wairegi is currently in Kansas working as a
social worker. He is currently on what seems to be a tour, performing in
Churches in the US.
Son to one of the biggest Kenyan Bishops based in the US,
Bishop Allan Kiuna, Billy Frank has shone through with talent and hard work and
is a fast growing name in the Gospel music scene. His
charity work gives him an edge above a lot of artists in the country, showing
us just how big a heart he has.
He posted a picture on Facebook with some of
his fellow workers saying "Giving back
to the community's #KansasHome for the homeless....all the way from Kenya to come and serve the
homeless in the USA has made me see how blessed I am..!am honored".
The gospel industry again takes the front seat in showing us
how it should be done, with extreme acts of selflessness through artists like
Billy Frank. We look forward to him coming back home and extending that helpful
hand to the poor and needy in the country as well.
