Kenrazy, Mr Lenny perform at a charity event

05 March 2014, 17:53 Eugene Odanga

Nairobi - Four of the biggest and fastest rising grandpa records artists are to take part in a street children welfare campaign this coming Friday March 7 2014 at the Amphi Theater.

Kenrazy, Mr. Lenny, Libby and JO-01 are set to perform at the concert sponsored by Grandpa Records in conjunction with the Kenyatta University. The shows purpose is to raise awareness of the needs of the street children in Nairobi and its environs.

Gate charges are set at 150ksh with all the funds raised from this event going to help with the street children. Kenyatta University will handle all the charity work as Grandpa provides the artists and the publicity.

Grandpa and Kenyatta University were also involved in another campaign last week to raise awareness for people with disabilities and it was a great success. It is with such initiatives from the Kenyan celebrities’ in conjunction with the public that will help us be more sensitive to such issues and this needless to say is a great start from Grandpa Records and Kenyatta University.
